2nd Annual Painting a Stroke of PHenomenal Hope

On September 12, the 2nd Painting a Stroke of PHenomenal Hope was held at the Oakdale School in Edmond, Oklahoma.This year's event was dedicated to local PH Support Group Leader Tammie Sharp and newest support group member, one-year-old Isabel Howard. The event included a carnival, silent auction, Blue Lips booth by Kathryn Burke and live artist demonstration. Fox News 25 anchor Matt Austin emceed the event. The seventeen-year-old event organizer, Lauren Johnson, was able to take a five-hour break from the hospital to attend the event and share her story with attendees. Rino Aldrighetti, PHA President, attended the event and explained what PHA is doing to help PH patients and find a cure for the disease. Lauren's little sister, Addie, also shared what it is like living with a sister with PH. The event was attended by over 250 people and raised close to $15,000. Last year's inaugural event raised $12,500
