On “Summit Day,” PH patient Kellie Tasto (pictured in a plaid cap) gathered family and friends for a walk honoring her specialist, Dr. Frantz, and celebrating the Path to a Cure climb team’s overall success. The walk was preceded by an online virtual Unity Walk, which Kellie organized. The Twin Cities walk participants, dubbed “Kellie’s Krew,” raised over $1,700 to support the climbers and their campaign.

Kellie describes this memorable evening:

"We had a beautiful evening for a moonlit walk through the woods on Friday, February 26, in support of the Kilimanjaro summit day. We were thrilled to have about 40 family members and friends join us as we hiked one mile up and down hills, through the woods, to a cozy little cabin. After warming up, most made the one mile trek back by foot, while others (PH’er and little ones) enjoyed a ride back to the house."

"It was a fun-filled evening in support of a great cause!"
