The Little Island that Could Collects Lip Prints, Advances Community

If you’ve been following PHA-UK’s race to collect blue lip prints from around the world, you’ve likely been watching the competition between the campaign's top two collectors. The UK and Puerto Rico are leading the effort, each with more than 3,000 kisses collected (and months yet to go in the campaign!) – nearly 2,000 more than the third-place position.

We couldn’t be more excited for our friends in PR –  from Luz Batista, the leader who was voted the official “Blue Lips of 2010” and whose perfect pucker adorns all of this year’s materials, to the 3,128 folks who have already lent their lips for a cure and all the patients, medical professionals and families who benefit from the two support groups on the island and the brand new PH clinic that opened in the beginning of 2010.
