Patient Services Offered at PHA on the Road

Attendees at PHA on the RoadPHA on the Road is only a few weeks away, stopping in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C., area (September 25) and Dallas, Texas (October 2). Each event offers different patient services to help make PHA on the Road easily accessible to all.

In response to the positive reaction at last year’s PHA on the Road forums, we will again be providing a Patient Rest Stop for attendees. This will give patients a place to store their extra oxygen tanks while the programs are in session. At the Patient Rest Stop, patients will also be able to utilize ice packs to assist in keeping medications chilled throughout the day.

Another patient service this year is complimentary valet parking at both forums. This will allow patients to easily access the forum without having to travel great distances from the parking lot to the locations inside the hotel. Signs directing attendees to the valet parking will be easily visible when entering the hotel property.

As part of our new family programming this year, we will also have a Kids’ Room for children and teens (patients and family members 3-16 years of age; no diapers please) who accompany their parents to the forum. The Kids’ Room will include games, activities and adult supervision while programs are in session. Like the rest of PHA on the Road, the Kid’s Room is free but does require registration. To register a child for the Kids’ Room, please call 301-565-3004 x764.

Registration for the PHA on the Road forums is still open, and we encourage early registration to better accommodate all who wish to attend. Register for the forums online or call 301-565-3004 x764 to register by phone.
