Things I Found: PHA Classroom

PHA ClassroomFor this edition of Things I Found on PHA's Website, I did not search for the resource; I knew exactly where it was. I 'found' one of my favorite PHA resources: PHA Classroom.

For years, we have had recordings from events available on the website, but now they are so easy to find, and they are all in one place. They are listed by category and the presenters are listed on the class catalogue pages. It is easy to find just what you are looking for, and - I have discovered - easy to get sidetracked by recordings you were not looking for until you found them.

There may have been PHA e-learning events you were interested in but could not attend. The recordings from those webinars are in the Classroom. Don't forget to take a look at the upcoming live e-learning events, they are easy to sign up for and participate in.

All of the patient and caregiver sessions from PHA's 2010 International Conference are in the Classroom now, and if you have not yet watched any of them, I urge you to take a look. You may even see your own PH specialist in a medically led session. Watch recordings such as "Combination Therapy and Transition to Oral Therapy," "New Medical Therapies for Children with PH" or "Entendiendo la Hipertensión Pulmonar: Lo Básico," one of three Spanish sessions.

The patient-led Conference recordings are in the Classroom as well, and you may know some of the people discussing topics such as "Taking an Active Role in Your Healthcare Decisions," "PAH Traveling Tips" or "My Doctor Said I May Need a Lung Transplant."

Enjoy browsing the listings and watching the recordings. I know you will return time and again, and don't forget to send friends and family to PHA Classroom if they want a better understanding of PH.
