PHA Research Opportunities

2012 PHA Research Room

June 22-24, 2012
Orlando, Florida

PHA is now accepting applications for the Research Room at our 2012 International PH Conference and Scientific Sessions. The Research Room was established to further PH research by allowing for the collection of data and biological specimens (e.g. cheek swabs, blood samples) from PH patients. This event provides a rare opportunity for researchers to collect data from a remarkably high concentration of PH patients in one place, at one time.

Fill out an online application, or visit the Conference website for more information.

Call for Abstracts

Submit your abstract for the poster session at PHA's 10th International Pulmonary Hypertension Conference and Scientific Sessions in the areas of clinical science (including treatment) and basic science. Four abstracts will be selected for oral presentation and an award will be given to the top two abstracts. Summaries of top presentations will be published in a future issue of Advances in Pulmonary Hypertension. Although PHA encourages the submission of original abstracts, abstracts submitted to PHA do not need to be based on original work. Submit your abstract to Abstract@PHAssociation.org.

Second, the PCORI Pilot Projects Grant Program will support the collection of preliminary data that can be used to advance the field of patient-centered outcomes research, providing the platform for a future PCORI research agenda. Third, the PCORI Pilot Projects Grant Program will support the identification of methodologies that can be used to advance patient-centered outcomes research as well as identify gaps where methodological research needs further development.
Submission Deadline: Letters of intent must be received by November 1, 2011, and applications must be received by December 1, 2011.
