Caregiver Shout-Out!

This Shout-Out goes from pulmonary hypertension patient Caroline Clemens to her boyfriend and caregiver Ryan.

Ryan, my boyfriend of five years, has been through it all with me. He accepted me when I told him I had scleroderma, supported me when I was diagnosed with PH, comforted me through my RemodulinTM clinical trial, helped me when I was put on FlolanTM, sat with me when I lost my kidneys, learned with me when we went through dialysis, prayed for me when I had my stroke, and pushed me when I struggled through rehab.

It’s hard to put into words how he has loved me. His actions sure show it. He is my friend, caregiver and, most importantly, my honey bear.
