2012 was another busy year for PHA Special Events. This year saw an increase in events with 66 total events held across 26 states – from walks, runs, golf outings and Bunco to wine tastings, dinners and even some music, art and clothing events too! Sarah Smiles 2nd Annual PHun-Raiser for Pulmonary Hypertension

Camillus, N.Y., November 2012
In Nov. 2012, The Peek family hosted the "Sarah Smiles 2nd Annual PHun-Raiser for Pulmonary Hypertension," in memory of Sarah Peek, who lost her battle with PH at a young age. Close to 140 people attended and the event raised more than $10,000 for pediatric PH research and patient services! Read more and watch the slideshow

  

Colleen Brunetti at her 2nd Annual Zumbathon for PHZumbathon for PH

Canton, Conn., November 2012
Pulmonary hypertension patient and PHA board member Colleen Brunetti hosted her 2nd Annual Zumbathon for PH in November 2012 in time for PH Awareness Month. The Zumbathon kicked off with 50 participants and raised more than $5,000 for PHA’s research and patient-serving programs. Read more
