Things I Found on PHA's Website: PH Related Items in the PHA Store

In Sickness & Not Health

You may be familiar with the PHA Store and may have purchased items such as the adorable Phineas — PHA's newest "PHriend.” I call mine the Flame Guy.

While in the PHA Store, have you ever clicked on the PH Related items link? This morning, I did. I found PoppyPockets, a book written by a PH patient, and more — wonderful PH items for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to PHA for services and research! The sales are handled by the individuals, so there are links to visit the websites for more information and to make your purchase.

Just what are PoppyPockets? I first read about them on the PHA Discussion Board. They are worn under the clothes and carry your infusion pump system comfortably and securely against your body. You can even wear it to bed.

In Sickness & Not Health is a book written by Kathy Van Osdale-Levitt and her husband Brian Levitt. Kathy and Brian were young newlyweds when she was diagnosed with PH. This is their personal story, offering  insight, advice and help for those dealing with sickness on a daily basis.

Find these items and more — handcrafted bracelets, purple golf clubs and beautiful art prints — in PH Related items in the PHA store.

While you’re shopping, take note of the quarterly item offered at a deep discount to PHA members. This quarter it’s our very popular car magnet available at a savings of 40 percent for all active PHA members. Have fun shopping!
