Pat Paton is one of PHA’s original “kitchen table” co-founders. She has been a part of PHA from the very beginning with the first organizational meeting being held around the kitchen table at Pat and Jerry's home in December 1990.

Pat has served in many capacities with PHA/UPAPH (UPAPH was the original name for PHA), including assistant treasurer and board member. At conferences, Pat has been a host, moderator, and presenter. She regularly contributed to the Pathlight when it began publishing. She is also the co-coordinator of the Patient-to-Patient Support Line.

Pat is currently an emeritus member of the Board and consistently attends meetings twice per year.
