Update from our March 5 meeting
Monday, March 14, 2011

Attendees signed in, picked up general information, and helped themselves to a delicious lunch provided by Gilead Health. The old hands greeted each other, and welcomed two new members.

We held a moment of silence for support group members and other PHers who had passed away.

Mick Dungan of Gilead introduced pharmacist Elleni Pippis who gave a terrific Power Point presentation on the nature of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension and its current treatments. There were lots of questions which she answered gracefully and with considerable knowledge. A previous blog, posted before the meeting, encapsulates her impressive biography.

This was one of our best meetings, indicated by the fact that people stayed to chat long after the formal part was over.
