SLC Education Committee

Mission Statement and Charge

The Education Committee of the Scientific Leadership Counsel was created to support PHA in its mission to advance PH education in the field for both patient and professional populations. In order to grow the educational opportunities, information and resources available to these communities, the Education Committee is charged with the following activities:

  1. The Education Committee will facilitate education through the development of practice consensus statements and treatment fact sheets
  2. The Education Committee will actively work with the PHPN to develop educational materials.
  3. The Education Committee will support the goals of the PHA Medical Education Fund, including projects for the Online University and in-person CME education events.

The Education Committee will convene periodically to discuss progress, evaluate goals and plan.
