What does being a Support Line Volunteer mean to you?

I truly feel good talking someone down from the cliff of being diagnosed. I love being stretched to give more after each call, and each call is a new challenge.

Did you ever have a memorable experience on the Support Line?

One of my most memorable calls was speaking to a man who had just lost his wife to PH. This man had no idea what to do. He was absolutely devastated and was at a complete loss. He also wanted to get involved with PHA. We talked for several hours. I was able to help this man through one of the hardest things he may face in his life.
